ADD/ADHD

Health officials
estimate that over 60% of persons who were diagnosed with
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD) as children continue
to have symptoms as adults. In addition, more adults are being
diagnosed who were not evaluated as children. An estimated
2 to 4 percent of adults are affected by symptoms of ADD/ADHD.
As a result, colleges are enrolling more students with ADD/ADHD,
and more of these students are seeking disability accommodations.
This presentation will discuss information relating to ADD/ADHD
and the college student.
