Classroom Technology

There’s no getting around it.  Today’s workforce must have computer and technological skills to compete for jobs and promotions – and tomorrow’s workforce will face even greater technological demands.  The Teaching-Learning Center, with funding from a Carl D. Perkins Foundation grant, sponsored two workshops by Dr. David Covington of North Carolina State University on ways faculty can increase their use of technology in the classroom to help students learn better and to prepare them for the demands of the workplace.
