Communication Skills in the Workplace:
Employers Talk Back

With funding from a grant from the Carl D. Perkins Foundation, the Teaching-Learning Center sponsored a workshop for Durham Tech faculty and staff on Communication Skills in the Workplace.  Nancy Martin-Young from the English Department at Wake Tech shared information she has gathered from area employers about the three main communication skills they are looking for in Community College graduates: oral, written, and technological communication skills.
