Got a question or having a problem with Blackboard?
Answers to many common questions can be found on one of these support sites:
- Durham Tech's Blackboard Help for Students
- Online Learning Support Center (provided by the NC Community College System)
If you need personal assistance, several options are available:
- Call the Blackboard Help Desk
You can call the Blackboard Help Desk at 1-866-517-3568 (toll free).
The Help Desk is available 24 hours a day to all NC community college students and instructors.
- Check with your instructor
Instructors organize their Blackboard sites differently and choose different settings. It's a good idea to ask your instructors because often the answer is specific to the way they are doing things. It's also important for your instructors to know if you're having a technical problem that may affect your ability to do your assignments.
- Ask a lab monitor
The monitors on duty in Durham Tech's open computer labs know how to use Blackboard and are a good source of one-on-one help. (For locations and open hours, see the Computer Lab Schedule.)
- Contact Durham Tech's Blackboard team
Durham Tech's Blackboard team can assist you during normal business hours:
- For CREDIT courses: E-mail bbadmin@courses.durhamtech.edu or call 919-536-7213
- For NON-CREDIT courses: E-mail ceonline@durhamtech.edu or call 919-686-3516
